Chelsea have moved back into fourth place in the Premier League after victory over Tottenham in their London derby.
Enzo Fernandez’s second-half header sealed a 1-0 victory for the hosts with the scoreline doing little to reflect the Blues’ control of the contest.
Moises Caicedo lashed home a sublime volley to double his side’s lead only to see it chalked off moments later with Levi Colwill offside in the build-up.
Tottenham also had a goal ruled out, with Pape Sarr’s equaliser wiped out having fouled Caicedo moments before his strike.
The win serves as a huge boost for Chelsea in their bid to return to the Champions League, moving ahead of Newcastle United and Manchester City back into fourth.
